19th-century mantel clock

We are selling a 19th-century French table/mantel clock
“Grand Prix d’Horlogerie 1878” award inscription (1878 Paris World’s Fair).

Currently not in working order (or needs to be inspected by a specialist). It occasionally makes noises when the hands are moved or turned.
So we assume:
• the movement is not completely broken
• the mechanism is still functioning
• the striking mechanism (bell) is still working
